Second-fix joinery is in, yet doors bind, architraves sit off the wall or skirtings stop short of a finished edge. This visit is for lining that timber up and making the junctions liveable — not for building furniture.

After the visit
You get the joinery we could finish in the visit, plus a note if a second attendance or extra timber is needed.
Price
£420.00 covers one joinery-finishing visit of up to four hours. If a door set or a run of skirting needs more than that, the extra labour and materials appear on a quotation you can accept or refuse. The £420.00 is credited either way.
Guide price: from £18.00 per linear metre of skirting/architrave
UK market rate for skirting and architrave making-good is priced per linear metre, not per m² of floor — a straight run is quicker than corners, doorways and uneven walls. This rate covers skirting/architrave only: a typical room's run (12–16 linear metres ≈ £220–290) plus easing or making good one or two doors in the same room fits the £420 visit below. Several rooms, more doors, or a full-house second-fix usually needs more than 4 hours — request a quote first.
